This service begins the official intake process for evaluating the condition and functionality of your drone. Whether the aircraft has been sitting unused, recently purchased second-hand, or requires professional testing before use, this diagnostic service provides a complete baseline assessment.

Each drone is carefully inspected, bench-tested, and flown (when applicable) to verify system functionality and flight safety.

How the Service Works

1. Purchase the Intake Service
After checkout you will receive confirmation along with shipping instructions and packaging guidelines.

2. Ship Your Drone
Send the aircraft along with the controller and camera if applicable. Batteries are optional but must be properly packaged according to shipping regulations.

3. Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluation
Our technicians perform a full system evaluation including:

• Motor and propulsion system testing
• GPS, compass and navigation calibration checks
• Telemetry and communication link verification
• Sensor and firmware integrity inspection
• Camera and gimbal functionality testing
• Battery and power system evaluation

4. Controlled Test Flight
Once the drone passes initial bench testing, a controlled test flight is performed (when applicable) to verify stability, sensor calibration and flight performance.

5. Detailed Diagnostic Report
You will receive a full report outlining:

• Current condition of the drone
• Test results and observations
• Potential issues or risks
• Recommended repairs or upgrades

Shipping Recommendations

For most consumer drones such as DJI, Autel, Yuneec, and other quadcopters, we strongly recommend using USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes.

• Medium Flat Rate Box – typically around $20–$25
• Large Flat Rate Box – typically around $25–$30

These boxes provide reliable 1–3 day shipping and predictable pricing regardless of distance.

They are ideal for shipping smaller drones safely and affordably.

Packaging Guidelines

• Use the original drone case if available
• Otherwise pack securely in a sturdy cardboard box
• Include the drone, controller and camera if applicable
• Batteries are optional but must be properly packaged
• Do not include memory cards or loose accessories

Important Notes

• This service fee is per drone. Adjust quantity if sending multiple aircraft.
• The intake fee covers diagnostics and the initial test flight only.
• Parts, repairs, upgrades or additional services are quoted separately.
• Return shipping is NOT included in this service.
• If a return label is not provided, we will ship the drone back using the same or a lower-cost carrier and invoice the return shipping cost.
