A lot of computer problems do not need a shop visit. I fix them over Zoom while you watch: you see everything I do, and nothing happens without your say-so.
What I fix remotely
- Virus and malware removal. Pop-ups, hijacked browsers, ransomware scares, cleaned properly.
- Slow computers. Startup cleanup, failing-drive diagnosis, upgrade advice.
- Software problems. Email, printers, Wi-Fi, updates that broke something.
- New computer setup. I walk your new machine through setup, accounts, and file transfer.
- Help for beginners. Patient, plain-English guidance. No question is too basic.
How a remote session works
- Call or email. Describe the problem. 518-888-7139.
- Zoom link. I send you a link. You click it, I see your screen only when you allow it.
- Fixed while you watch. Most sessions run 30 to 60 minutes.
- Plain explanation. I tell you what was wrong and how to avoid it next time.
Rates
Remote support runs $50 to $100 per hour depending on complexity, quoted up front before I start. If the problem turns out to need hands-on repair, the remote fee counts toward the bench work.

Is remote support safe?
Yes. You start the session, you see everything I do, and you can end it any time. I never access your computer without you there.
What if you cannot fix it remotely?
I will tell you straight, and I will talk with you about shop repair or an on-site visit instead.
Do I need to install anything?
Just Zoom, which most people already have. I will walk you through it if not.
